Multi-Format Monobloc Packaging Machine
One machine for several liquid formats: indexed rotary plate, adjustable holders and stations added as needed, from filling to labelling.
Who is it for?
The multi-format Monobloc is aimed at manufacturers who package liquids in several types of containers — pump bottles, perfume bottles, aerosol cans, glass vials, jars — and want to run them on a single machine rather than on one machine per format. It also suits production that is set to change: stations are added as needed, on the same plate.
How does the multi-format Monobloc work?
It is built around an indexed rotary plate and adjustable holders that can take different formats on the same machine. On each index, the plate moves the containers from one station to the next. Stations are chosen from the nine available:
- Automatic feeding of containers
- Gassing - cleaning
- Filling - dosing of the liquid
- Expansion fitting (dudgeoning)
- Screw capping
- Crimping
- Stoppering
- Labelling
- Control
The machine is run by Siemens PLCs from a touch-screen HMI, with a built-in audit trail.
- Up to 3,600 bottles/hour on a reduced floor footprint
- Indexed rotary plate: containers move from one station to the next on each index
- Adjustable holders: pump bottles, perfume bottles, aerosols, glass vials and jars on one machine
- Nine stations to choose from, added as needed: from feeding to control, including crimping and labelling
- Fast station and format changeover
- Run by Siemens PLCs from a touch-screen HMI
- Built-in audit trail, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance

Typical use cases
- Cosmetics and perfumery: pump bottles and perfume bottles on the same machine, switching from one format to the next through the adjustable holders.
- Aerosols: aerosol cans held by the adjustable holders, on the same machine as bottles and jars.
- Pharmaceuticals: small glass vials, with built-in audit trail and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for data integrity.
- Multi-format workshops: a single machine for several container families, rather than one machine per format.
- Changing production: adding a station — labelling, control, automatic feeding — when the need arises.
Everything about this machine
Containers are held by adjustable holders mounted on the rotary plate, which lets the same machine take different formats. Five examples illustrate the range: pump bottle, perfume bottle, aerosol can, small glass vial and jar. For any other container, its dimensions and volume are to be reviewed with SPC.
Nine stations are available: automatic feeding, gassing - cleaning, filling - dosing, expansion fitting (dudgeoning), screw capping, crimping, stoppering, labelling and control. They are added as needed: the machine can start with the stations production requires and take on others later.
Up to 3,600 bottles per hour, on a reduced floor footprint. That is the maximum throughput stated for the range: the figure for a given configuration, depending on the stations and format chosen, is confirmed with SPC.
No. Station and format changeover is fast: containers sit on adjustable holders, so the same machine moves from a pump bottle to an aerosol or a jar without changing machines.
Yes. It is run by Siemens PLCs from a touch-screen HMI and has a built-in audit trail, compliant with the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulation on electronic records.
