Does Chaxys replace my current filler?

No, it connects to it. The cart takes over dosing on your existing line, without you having to revamp the machine in place or invest in a new filler. That is what makes it quick to deploy when budget or schedule rule out a complete line.

Which pumps can be fitted on Chaxys?

Every pump type on the market, volumetric as well as peristaltic. The Klyx attachment system allows fast pump changeover, which makes the cart usable across several products and several machines without heavy intervention.

What does cleaning between two products involve?

The cleaning-in-place module, available as an option, runs a CIP cycle on the dosing circuit with no disassembly. The pumps are CIP/SIP pumps, designed to withstand those cycles. That is what allows several products to be run in sequence on the same cart.

Does production have to stop to install Chaxys?

No. The cart is set up quickly through the Klyx system, and per-format qualification is done off line: the system is tested and qualified on your format before being connected for production. The line is therefore not immobilised during commissioning.

Is Chaxys compatible with a classified environment?

Yes, and with no downgrade of the room. A laminar flow system is available for the most demanding environments. The constraints of your area — class, flow, cladding — are reviewed during design, as the cart is custom-built around your process.
